Calling

Last year I found a photographable burrow where a pair of black guillemots  (aka tysties, in these parts) were bringing up a youngster.  I've been visiting it over the last couple of weeks hoping to see some activity.  

This tystie sat near the burrow for ages today, periodically calling and waiting for a response - eventually the answer came and it headed out into the bay in the direction of the answer.
