A solitary Poppy, growing appropriately against the wall of the British Legion clubhouse. Bit of a rushed shot, had to stand in the middle of the road to take this. Spotted on an exciting outing to... the pharmacy!

Feeling a bit better today, thank you for all your good wishes. A grey morning but a sunny afternoon of 15 degrees, so mowed the back lawn, then threw open the lounge doors to let the room fill with the scent of freshly mown grass and Lily of the Valley.
