Cap Ghir

Woke this morning to massive surf, waves rumbling down from Anchor Point in neat rows, 10-15ft high...(at least).

Unsuprisingly we didn't surf...had the hire car to pick up and a board to be repaired (the dodgy repair by the previous owner had opened up, only noticed as I was packing it up for the flight).

We took a drive up to Cap Ghir so I could get used to fishing for the gear stick on the wrong side, on a nice straight road! When we got there the waves were just enormous, some must have been approaching 25-30ft high. So we sat in the sun and took it all in - got chatting to a local fisherman and shown round his little cave/hut/chillout room.
