Damsel in Distress

A bit of art for the first time in months. Ray Harryhausen at the Dean. All that pre-CGI stuff with bendy little models. Very entertaining, well to a point. And the closest I’ve ever been to a real Oscar. Wow, etc.
Followed by a visit to the daughter’s to be treated to shortbread fingers. And inconsequential chat which is the very best kind.
Then a haircut for it will very shortly be time to head north again. But not before a Friday evening with the customary bon repas, oh yes. In other words, there was a starter.
