Protest in Princes St

Met up with Sands for a trip to the Portrait Gallery. A meet up between two folk who have not seen each other whilst Covid raged. A walk round the gallery then lunch in the cafe gave us a chance to catch up. Then we went for a wander over to Princes Street Gardens to have a look at the last of the cherry blossom.

Whilst we were sheltering from a light shower of rain we heard some raucous shouting and chanting from the road. It was the protest in support of Palestine.

I have to admit it seems that if there is a society who has forgotten their own history and learned nothing from experience it is the Israelites.
