Bum... Bee

There's a little rowan tree growing in our back garden. It grew from seed, probably dropped by a bird, and it's allowed to stay until it gets too big. 

I like its flowers, and so do the bees. I tried to get a better photo of this little red-tailed bumblebee, but it only ever showed me its first bit, i.e. the bum. 

Otherwise this was an unremarkable day, mainly spent indoors. Outside it was cold, mostly grey, but again with only a few drops of the promised rain.
