A bit of wood

But, it's a bit of wood that has been there for quite a long time.  The Solway Firth was a busy estuary in times past with the movement of goods elsewhere and people going down to Liverpool to emigrate to places such as America.  Now it's only occasional small sailing boats or Nith Inshore Rescue which you see.
I thought I would go and look at a car but one of the sales staff was literally on the phone to another customer taking the deposit for it as I walked in to the showroom.  Annoying!
