Good feelings

Day 2 of open outdoor regionals today. Knowing we couldn't make nationals was gutting but we set our sights on 9th, top of the bottom half. The conditions were far from favourable. We had equal parts sun and hail all accompanied by strong winds which made games seem like an exercise in futility at times!

Playing wise, We steamrolled UCLan, ground down Hull and then played a spectacular game against old rivals Bangor to take 9th, winning the plate final and the shiny piece of silverware you see above. It's a shame we couldn't play like that all tournament but i'm glad we went out on a high in my last competitive uni tournament.

They say Uni is the best time of your life. Well this team has definitely contributed to that. It will be strange not playing for them after June. A bunch of god-damn heroes every last one.
