The Helmet

The sporting world has opened up again for kids. Callum is back training but no matches yet. Helmets are compulsory and have been for a few years. Like all health and safety issues there was resistance. Real men don't wear helmets was being said even thought players were losing their sight through being hit in the eye by a swinging hurley. Now every player has to wear a helmet. Gloves for hand injuries are next. Once the insurance provider says they will not insure players without protection the pressure come on.
