I just flashed her a stern ‘not now I’m busy’ look!

I mean, I was concentrating on chewing the end of my morning stick. It’s important to get the first stick of the day trimmed just right or the whole morning is out of kilter!

Like an English gentle- person’s first cup of tea in the morning. Some things cannot be rushed!
