First crop

I thought I’d better look at how the radishes I’d sown were coming along. Monty Don last night recommended thinning out seedlings. I ended up picking these. The first produce ready from the raised beds. The next seeds are now planted.

Most of the day, apart from the weekly shop, spent in the garden. Setting up a watering system so that I’d we ever get away the plants will not dry out. And digging over the new flower beds ready for planting. I’ve been hardening off the seedlings and begonia tubers so hope they can now go out.

The day turned out brighter than anticipated and fractionally warmer. I’m not sure tomorrow will be as nice.
