The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Thursday 13th May 2021)

It seemed no time at all since the driveway dandelions were in full glory, but I noticed that they had already turned to dandelion clocks and it was by good fortune I went out with my camera at around 0900 hr to record them, because torrential rain set in not long afterwards and decimated them all.

They were already being displaced by the emerging self-seeded aquilegias which are also springing up all over the Woodland Garden.

The heavy rain proved too much for my guttering, overseen by a rather forlorn pigeon on next door's TV aerial.
