Peony

A lovely afternoon so I did a local walk. I spotted many gardens in the middle of complete makeovers with great stacks of slabs, bricks and timber lying in driveways.

I only spotted one peony bush with the dark red buds just about to explode into some very blousy, frothy blooms. I will have another look later on in the week to check on what will be some beautiful blooms.

My poppies have some buds but they are still a long way from flowering. Sadly I have lost my fuchsia, bought last year from the supermarket ..... time to look for a replacement.
