Swan Family

Having not been to see the swans and cygnets at Stonebow Washlands since the end of April, we went today. The cygnets are at least twice the size they were when I last photographed them.

The old man who feeds them is still there throwing them bird seed and corn. I have to say that it annoys me. It's as if he's hand rearing them. How are they supposed to live wild, even if his intervention means they don't starve?

Extras are of one of the cygnets waddling up the bank, and another resting in the grass to drain off the water.
