Yellow-headed Blackbird

I went to the refuge early this morning and was surprised at the change in just a couple of weeks.  The grass was waist high and most of the wetlands were dried up.  It looked like it does in August.  I didn't see very many birds either.  Lots of red-winged blackbirds and a couple of these yellow-headed blackbirds.  A red tailed hawk and that was about it.

Stopped by my parents to bring them a few days worth of newspapers and schedule out the week.
