Edinburgh Castle

It was unexpectedly sunny and warm today, and we decided to go to the Botanics as we hadn’t been for a while. We thought the Rhododendrons would be at their best but despite the cold weather they seem past their best. The rock garden was terrific and I got some good shots, however as we walked back through Inverleith Park the dark cloud behind the Castle made a better blip. The threatening cloud never gave us a shower and the weather remained good all afternoon.

Best on black.
