Great to be Back Again

I had a good trip to Akaroa as there wasn't much traffic on the road. It has been a really warm day with around 24c. There was no wind. If the sun was out it would have gotten warmer. This shot does makes it feel cold with the dark sky...but it wasn't!.

Things were so dry... some plants were past saving. It is amazing how most plants have lasted with not much water. Level four water restrictions on still in place. I have never seen them in place for so long. By April 1 they are normally off. There is a waterfall you can see when driving over the hills and that was completely dry, which I have never seen at this time of year before.
