The one that got away

More house viewings this morning. We attended two auctions, one for a house we thought would be way out of our budget and one for the house we really wanted.

The first went for way under what everyone thought, they actually came to us and asked us if we wanted to top the final bid ... we said no as we still had “our” house auction to attend.

Well that turned out to be a big disappointment! There were soooo many people there, this picture only captures some of the attendees.

Anyway, we were so disheartened to see it slip away, there were two Chinese families outbidding each other. Martin and Jon were particularly downhearted.

I’m sure something will come along, we just have to be patient.
