Is there anybody in there . . . ?

We never see any sign of activity in or around this shack as we walk the Wimbie Creek track to the beach. Not as much as a clothes peg has moved, even after the block was sold a few months ago. Today, I decided to push in closer through the bush, but was none the wiser. It's a choice block, too, only 20 metres from Wimbie Beach and with wide-open views across the bay. Why the shack was built at the back of the block in the first place is puzzling - unless the original owners intended to build a more handsome home at the front later. Perhaps that's what the new owners will do in time. It's not our business, of course, but, as nosy interested neighbours, we'll be watching.
