Vernatt's Drain

This evening the light was glorious after the rain. Had a frustrating and unmotivated day at work and was desperate to get out of the house!
I was so lucky with the light and also happy to see 2 herons and a cormorant on this Drain near my house. They were too far away to photograph on my phone but a joy to see.
