Still life with shadows

While we loved our beach walks today there wasn't a scene to inspire us (By us.. I mean Ruby, Me and Endota the house guest black labrador). Giz the cat got digitally imaged a couple of times but was too intent in whizzing about to get a clear and interesting image.

So I wandered about the house wondering what might be blipable. The evening light through the kitchen window gave some promise so I shifted some objects on the kitchen counter and came up with this.

Not as dramatic as a beach scene or as cute as one of my live-in companions but will have to do. Don't like empty spaces on my blipfoto calender.
