Not a lady to rely on...

This is the Spitfire. She comes out for Summer, but she winters in a garage bought specially for her, just up the hill. Actually to be fair, everything here is just up (or down) the hill. The garage is in a car-park under a block of flats, full of columns and corners, like the ones I´ve just scraped the side of our other car on.
Anyway - the technical details: she won´t start. Or do anything else: no lights, horns, dials, nothing.
She has had her battery charged and tested, all her cables and connections checked, her fuses changed, and she´s as responsive as a mouldy log. No smells, no noises, no clunks. Barring the possibility that the ignition switch has given up, I am out of ideas. And of course trying to get her out of a car park like the one she was in, single-handed, without a motor, was quite out of the question.
Magical Mapfre, the best insurers I´ve ever dealt with, sent a man with a crane and cables, and solved the extrication problem.
She still has no electricity anywhere though, so this is her arriving , courtesy of the rescue service, at the village workshop in Torazu. They are very familiar with her moods and will coax life back into her.
