An Excursion

I'm still on leave, so I thought I'd have a day out of the house.

I had planned a trip to Hebden Bridge some weeks previously to meet an old friend. Unfortunately, she mugged me off at the last moment, but I decided to go anyway. Despite her dire prognostications, the weather was sunny and warm, it didn't rain and I'm pretty certain that I didn't contract the Indian variant of COVID.

The canal boats were nice, too.
