Road Washout.

About a month ago, during very heavy rains, a part of our road got really badly washed out.   Finally today i took a few images to send to the roads department and tell them we need this fixed!   It happens each year, i'm sure they get tired of hearing from us up here on Big Hill...but you know what they say, the squeaky wheel and all that!!

I had some help in the mudroom today, which was awesome!  Alyson stayed in the Chalet cabin for a month .... and has no need to head back to the city (Halifax) and is staying on with her aunt who lives in Baddeck.  She sieved 4 of my glazes....a job i hate to do....so while she did that i waxed the bottoms of all the pots...and of course we chatted - sharing out varied and interesting lives!  It was such a delight to have an interesting woman helping me in the studio.  I'll try and get a photo next time she drops by.  

I also got some of the glazing done...and hopefully in 2 days time i'll get the first of 3 glaze kilns on!!
