Submerged

It has definitely felt a bit that way today. The working day was supposed to be study but was broken up by a series of meetings and an online hospital appointment (just a regular diabetes check-up). Post work it was straight into a family Zoom before Immy and I (Chris) had a catch-up call. She's reached the stage of her placement year where her project is being submitted whilst at the same time she's revising for her final exams, super busy.

This evening we've had a very good, thought provoking camera club presentation from guest speaker Astrid McGechan on emotion and photography. It was inspiring and really got members thinking (and talking). I loved the piece about photographing what you feel rather than what you see.

At lunchtime and in-between the many deliveries of rain today in various strengths, I had a few minutes in the garden and I found this very small fungi growing in the lawn. In a day or two I suspect it will rise above the level of the grass (which desperately needs mowing if it ever gets the chance to get dry) but right now it felt very submerged which I hope the photo portrays.  Do fungi count as a vegetable for Tiny Tuesday?
