Our wander along the beach produced a nice little collection of pottery shards as well as a part of a green glass bottle and other bits and pieces. 

Lottie is getting braver now and will risk dipping her paws into the very edge of the shallows! I'm hoping she will be confident enough to paddle properly by the summer!
