Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Winter has returned.

Designed by William Adam in 1732 and home to the Gordon family for over 250 years, Haddo House is one of Scotland's grandest Palladian-style country mansions. It is now in the care of the National Trust for Scotland. This path, leading to the terraced gardens at the rear of the house, is lined with the graves of the family's animals, horses to the left, dogs to the right, each with its own gravestone.

You may need to use the spyglass to spot the gravestones between the trees.
