Hiding from Hail

The hail doesn't really show in the photo, sadly. Whereas the weeds have shown up well :-)

I had just dashed down to the surgery for my second COVID jab, having forgotten my appointment. Embarrassing, but the nurse was very nice about it.

We called into the allotment to water the tomatoes etc in the shed. Our visit coincided with heavy rain and hail.  The broccoli plants from yesterday were looking rather pitifully eaten, but the brassicas under the netting are faring better.
