Deer in the Gorse

Up and out a bit later than I wanted to this morning. I was tired but I also had to strip my room and sanitise it before leaving. Finally got out at 7.30 am and met these two as I walked up the track. All the gorse is fully in flower just now at the bottom of the glen and it looks and smells lovely. 
This is a heavily pregnant Red deer hind with her last years calf.

A mostly sunny day with lots of challenging rough walking but I did it and now I am back at home for a few days.
