So good to eat out

It certainly feels good to be able to go out for dinner. Last night we returned to the Indian Restaurant that we use. Eating Indian food as a takeaway is a British tradition, but the food definitely tastes better straight from the kitchen to your table.

There was a threat of rain so we sat inside and I took my shot through the window. Also it is very hot still, even at night and the air conditioned interior was welcome.

There are strict conditions to eating in restaurants, no alcohol can be served, hand cleanser must be provided and social distancing must be observed. This particular restaurant even provides a foot bath to disinfect your footwear. So as you arrive at the entrance you sign in via your phone, or on a sheet register, you then cleanse your hands and finally step on to a towel in a square tray which is soaked with disinfectant. Oh and of course your temperature is taken. You are now ready to enter and enjoy their wonderful food. We drink soda water, but they also make their own lemon juice, with salt or without salt, and naturally mango lassie, which I do like, but it can be quite filling.
