Made an early dash to the allotment before the forecast of heavy rain was fulfilled - just made it home, only slightly wet. Spent most of the afternoon at the laptop, doing.....stuff.

News from 'ull is that Mr H has had to had a sofa day, with aches and shivers consequent on his second jag. Says it isn't as bad as his first one though.

Most of the broad bean flowers showing are the usual white ones - these handsome stripey fellows are just on one plant (all the same variety as far as I know).
