Lapwing, Peewit or Green Plover

This beautiful bird is on the RSPB Red List due to the serious reduction of numbers over the last few years. However, we saw some 40-50 in the fields near Stirling this afternoon.
Bitterly cold again in that "lazy" wind but the wee coverlet of snow soon cleared in the sunlight.
