Kayak sledge

Braidburn Valley Park, Edinburgh.

This afternoon I fancied a walk in the snow, and took my camera. One click and it was out of battery! Must have been all that light painting the other day. Luckily I had a back up and I was glad I did because one sledging group had moved away from the norm, they were using kayaks as sledges. Quite successfully too, until one gathered a bit too much speed and overshot the bottom of the hill landing in the freezing cold burn. In a kayak though, so what a result!
