What a miserable relentless day of rain and bad weather but at least the beech hedge is fi ally greening up.

The engineers were back so it was another day of no heating while they drained the system and did whatever it was they needed to do - it was noisy whatever it was.

Alarmingly they also discovered water p-ing in through the roof into an internal cupboard onto electrics, potentially what caused the boiler to pack in in the first place. Now waiting for a roofer to come and investigate, this is going to be a very expensive month :(
