Royal Opera House, London

A very busy day in London today. Liz’s brother John showed us the eclectic parts of his new village Walthamstow. We visited Wood Street Market where I bought a beautiful framed original watercolour for £5!!! We had coffee in ‘Gods Own Junkyard’ home to the most amazing neon signs, worlds largest glitter ball and a staff toilet that looks like a Tardis.
In the afternoon we browsed Portobello markers and shops. Dined in Cote and then went to The Duchess Theatre to watch the newly opened play ‘Cruise’. It was spellbinding and brilliant! The review is 4 stars but we gave it 5. The long standing ovation meant that the rest of the audience agreed with us.
