Falling Foss

Today we left the Runswick Bay leg of our holiday and said goodbye to my cousin and her hubby. We travelled south long the coast for our annual pilgrimage to Bempton Cliffs.
On the way we stopped for a walk in the woods around a waterfall called Falling Foss, it sheltered us well from the rain and turned into a real delight as we came across a beautiful house with a tea garden. Deep within the woodland and at the top of the falls the whole set up made the smartest tea garden we have ever come across, excellent cappuccino and flat white, resisted the cakes etc, must return again.
The rain didn't ease up but we decided to brave the wind and rain and walk the promenade at Filey. I quite liked the last extra as a typical photo of British seaside.
