Our Latest Acquisition?

No ... but I did find this roadside shack in South Bristol very photogenic!

We decided to reward ourselves with a day off today, and so far we have succeeded in doing not one lick of work!  This morning we visited the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens here in Boothbay.  Absolutely gorgeous, with acres of beautiful landscapes to savour.  They have a special exhibit on right now -- gigantic wooden "trolls" which are dotted around the grounds.  (See extra, with Mr. W for scale).

Then we drove around aimlessly, admiring crashing surf at Pemaquid Point, and lovely scenery all over the place.  We stopped at Osier's Wharf in South Bristol to pick up a couple of lunchtime sandwiches, and enjoyed a little picnic overlooking the harbour there.  Right now, Mr. W is sound asleep, having a well deserved afternoon nap!
