Worcesterberries

The worcesterberry bushes are looking pretty healthy.  Am hoping that the cold weather is delaying the annual Sawfly onslaught.  I think I probably blip these berries every year - they make fantastic jam, compote, pie filling and ice cubes to go in gin and tonic, and taste like a cross between gooseberries and blackcurrants.

A backblip - had madly busy day trying to do a week's worth of outside decorating in one day because it was actually dry  and not too breezy.  I think I must be one of the most clumsy messy decorators - ended up covered in white gloss and slate grey woodstain, even managed to accidentally kick a paint pot over.  No side effects from yesterday's jag, am putting aching arms down to hanging off a ladder and carrying tins of paint.
