DSB

A few weeks ago we were having discussions with our friends about the possibility of having a little break. I suggested the May half term, the second week in July when I break up or a weekend. Busy life overtook and we didn’t really organise anything. J sent a link to holiday cottages last night for us to get our bum in gear.

We popped into theirs this morning for a cuppa and a chat and realised they were thinking of half term... next week! Well, Mr C won a ballot to go and watch rugby on the Saturday, S is playing golf the end of the week so we suggested July ;-D

Onto B&Q to pick up a new Laurel plant to replace one that died when we moved it and some paint tester pots for me to paint a large cable reel (toadstool) for the children. No Laurel plants though.

Then onto Putney to take these prints https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2768495062986787944
In to be framed finally. They are costing a great amount each picture , probably quadruple the value of the actual print (although I don’t know the value, I just imagine it’s not that much). We’ve asked for the faded ones to be put behind the unfaded ones as a keepsake.

Back home to enjoy tea and cake that we bought from a little bakery in Putney.
