...ed è successo!!! #Eurovision 2021

Delighted for the victory of Måneskin and Italy!

Last night was a rollercoaster of emotions. We knew we had to count on audience points, as they were actually among the most popular in terms of views, but State juries also gave us votes to get up to fourth place and make the most of the audience's vote.

After so many years (2006, Lordi) I'm happy that my favorite genre is back to win. People may like it or not (and I hope the controversy will be transformed into pure and simple defamation with the proof of the facts), but Europe is beautiful because of the different cultures and languages, and the change (which I know will be temporary in the temple of pop and dance) can revive competition.

Because it's just a competition.

Special mention for Finland and Ukraine, which I loved, but also for Russia and her message for the independence of Russian women.

Felicissima per la vittoria dei Måneskin e dell'Italia!

Ieri sera sono state montagne russe di emozioni. Sapevamo di dover contare sui punti del pubblico, dato che effettivamente loro erano tra i più amati in termini di ascolti, ma anche le giurie degli Stati ci hanno dato voti per arrivare fino al quarto posto e sfruttare la votazione del pubblico al massimo.

Dopo tanti anni (2006, Lordi) sono felice sia tornato a vincere il mio genere preferito. Può piacere o non piacere (e spero le polemiche siano presto rese pura e semplice diffamazione con la prova dei fatti), ma l'Europa è bella perchè è diversa, ed il cambiamento (che so sarà temporaneo nel il tempio del pop e della dance) può ravvivare la competizione.

Perchè è solo una competizione.

Menzione speciale per la Finlandia e l'Ucraina, che ho adorato, ma anche per la Russia e il suo messaggio per l'indipendenza delle donne russe.
