Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

A day in Edinburgh

We met ArcLight and Mr A at Modern One to see the Joan Eardley exhibition.

Some super pictures.  We would be happy to find space on our crowded walls for a number of them.  After our meander around the Gallery, we took a walk down to see the Gormley.  We contemplated a longer walk, but it was threatening rain, so we cried off, drove to ArcLight and Mr A's pad, where Mr A supplied a lovely lunch of Cullen Skink and flat breads.

The weather perked up, so we took a walk around the local paths, taking in another Gormley, and aspects of local railway history.

Towards the end, this rather handsome Merganser (or should we call her a Goosander?) asked to be Blipped.

After another cup of tea/coffee, we drove back to our digs through deteriorating weather, and it's rained pretty constantly since we arrived - we certainly got the best of the weather whilst  in Edinburgh.
