Hobblers on Tour

Well that was a busy day!  We had an outing to Bradley and Fixby Woods in the morning for an orienteering event and the small woods were surprisingly enjoyable.

Once home it was a quick lunch and I was back out to walk with the Hobblers.  Two of our number are unable to run at the moment so it's good to keep in touch with them on a walk and catch up.  We returned to the village to have tea and cake at Sally's, perfectly timed before the rain arrived.

Back home, Jen returned from her Ingleborough walk with friends and Pete emerged from the study having worked on an application whilst we were out of the house.  Neighbour Peter had brought a formidable drilling machine and he and Tony were busy exposing the earth's core on the edge of the patio.  I did a quick lateral flow test before digging out my tripod and heading up the road to neighbour J's to take some photos for her, for her company website.  Hopefully she has one she likes.

We decided on a comfort dinner of bangers (meaty and veggie) and mash with onion gravy, nothing better on a wet, windy day.

A lovely day was rounded off with a Euan Skype in which there was much Incey Wincey Spider; naming of parts and Boo!

Can you spot Wilsden Walker?
