On the Road

Adventures! For the first time since Covid started we are driving further than 50 km from home. We are staying overnight with very old friends (fully vaccinated a few weeks ago) in a small town, Torshälla, not so far from Stockholm. Tomorrow we'll be driving a little further and viewing a camper van, to see if it is something we could use. Exciting!
We took a detour on the way here because it looked as if there would be a suitable spot to take a rest and eat our sandwiches, and there was.  Lots of water, swallows swooping low, and crows hanging around in a generally hopeful way.  
Spring is a little more advanced here, as these marsh marigolds show. They were growing on the far side of the river, which you can see in the extra.
More as a reminder to my future self I'll mention these pictures are from Gysinge Nature Reserve, next to Färnebofjärdens National Park.
