Mono Monday - Bluebell Spinney IR

There must be something perverse about my photography. Why go to a bluebell spinney in order top take monochrome infrared images. I was not sure how the bluebells blooms would render in infrared but I could have guessed that with then amount of chlorophyll they absorb in order to bloom that their flowers as well as leaves would render whitish. However, I did know that the trunks of the trees in this woodland were crooked and curved so I though that might work. I must also confess that the link to this week's challenge was after the event when I was looking for a woodland synonym that began with "s".
