reflections and sparklies

Raining again today, the sun finally made an appearance just after 3. The garden’s soaked and the grass is getting even longer. This is the top of one of our water butts - I thought it looked like an abstract painting with all the wobbly bits and the sparklies. A quiet day, this morning on the computer and this afternoon I’ve started a little painting in the fireplace upstairs. We’ve never had a fire in it and the chimney’s now capped. So I’ve painted it cream and now I’m attempting to draw a window with a view... at least there’s plenty of paint left to cover it up if it all goes pear shaped..!
