Sun and snow flurries over Windermere

Woke up to a thin covering of whiteness and blue skies. A biting wind from the NE but where sheltered you could feel the warmth in the sun: such that I ate my porridge out in the garden, albeit with a duvet jacket on!
We went for a quick run partway up Wansfell from Troutbeck, then back via Skelghyll. Lovely views south over the lake and north into the Fairfield horseshoe. Sunny periods punctuated by squally snow showers, which just added to the natural drama of the landscape.
