Two Anniversaries

On the 25th of May 2010, a Whit Tuesday just like today, I drove to the airport to pick up a certain Scotsman by the name of P. There we met for the first time in person after months of emails, online chats and phone calls. The rest, as they say, is history.

On the 25th of May 2013, a Saturday, we drove to the animal shelter at Rüsselsheim to meet a certain black-and-white cat by the name of Sonja, took her home with us and renamed her Munni after one of our favourite Bollywood songs.

All that calls for celebrations, and celebrate we will. Though perhaps not today, as one of the protagonists is currently on painkillers because of his sciatica.
