My New Best Friend

Should have been a day to celebrate a life changing moment but my sciatica has decided to launch the worst attack on me ever.

It's like a bolt of lightning going off in my hip every time I make a false movement.  Unfortunately I do not know what the correct movements are and consequently there have been (completely involuntary) yelps of pain for most of this afternoon.

Painkillers taken.  But pain makes me a very impatient and angry person.  Everything seems to be just out of reach and because it's just out of reach, cue another detonation of pain.
