Beside Annaty Burn

I've given this a somewhat indirect title because I don't know the name of these flowers. Is it Butterbur? They look like some of the images on the internet, but not others.

Thanks to some research by Mrs P I know now that it is White Butterbur (petasites albus). It is an introduced species to Britain, first recorded in the wild in 1843, and particularly common in eastern Scotland.
