The jackdaws spend much of their day up high in the trees watching and waiting. As soon as they realise no one is watching, down they swoop.. the least movement and they are off but one is getting braver. I caught (on camera) these two eating, one watching and there are two more below catching what falls. The one on the bird bath tried several times to squeeze in but didn't manage.
They also watch the other birds and if they fly off with something in their beak the jackdaws all fly after to make the poor wee bird drop the morsel.
